Happy New Year, vol. 2

Americans/The Roberts have a pretty relaxed and convenient relationship to celebrating New Years eve and figured we´d be able to go to sleep earlier if we celebrated New Years Eve, with a glass of Champagne at 24.00 New York time, which meant 22.00, local time. So we saw the Ball drop on Times Square, said cheers, talked for a while and went to bed.

I was pretty tired so I couldn´t have asked for a better way of ending 2007.

This timeshopping would never have happened in Denmark, as we´re all in the same time zone and it´s kind of nice feeling knowing that everybody´s doing the same thing at the same time.

I hope that you´ve all had a moment of solitude to reflect on the year 2007 and what you´ve made from it - if you have any regrets, 2008 is the time to make it up - the sooner the better. Chuckie V has an excellent post on time, reflections and the whole concept of New Year:

Happy New Years to everyone, Claus
